MASSAGETREE
THE ART OF MASSAGE

About Massagetree

The name MASSAGETREE is derived by its founder's nickname Treesa (Tree-sa) who studied at the NEW School of Massage in Waldo, Wisconsin.  The name and byline "the art of massage" is also based on the use of word ending "try" (pronounced tree) as in the word basketry (pronounced basketree) which is the "art" of basket making.  The name and byline also resonate with Treesa because one of her favorite quotes is:

A woman who works with her hands is a laborer

A woman who works with her hands and her head is a craftswoman

A woman who works with her hands, her head and her heart is an artist.

And hence at MASSAGETREE, Treesa is commited to put her hands, head and heart into every massage.  Because at MASSAGETREE Treesa believes that the best therapeutic effect of a massage is the result of a combination of touch (hands), scientific/medical knowledge (head) and compassion (heart).
